Typus 9.0 was the attempt to create the ultimate weekend warrior raceboat. With the focus on using integrated solution to mix “business” with “pleasure” in a smooth and seamless way.
This was my 3rd year project at Lund University school of Industrial Design and occupied my mind for 4 months. All those integrated solutions were a great lesson in organizing and executing design projects.
The goal of this project was to inegrate all the features needed for a fun weekend boat in a way that would not deduct from its regatta fit. That means an open uncluttered cockpit that magically transforms into a dining area, sail wrap that transforms into a tent, intgrated swim ladder and storage for gear.
